Sailability Victoria, previously Sailing for Everyone
An organisation facilitating sailing for every person, concentrating on
sailing in the Access Dinghy range of yachts. Based in Victoria but growing
and spreading worldwide. I'm president of the Docklands club and designed

grown from an Australian base largely using Australian yachts. Access Dinghies Boat designers and
builders of the Access 2.3 and 303 yachts for use by everyone. Albert Park Yacht Club, where Colin
was a member and Class Captain, has their own site detailing the classes
of yachts sailied and other club details. Disabled
WinterSport Australia is a multi-facetted, self help sporting organisation
which prides itself on its ability to enjoy the magnificent environment
that is Australia's Snowy Mountains, and equally importantly, enjoy it

Interesting site with a great collection of links on one page. The Wheellife the social and lifestyle website Cool Mobility is a company that has a mission to commercialise technology designed and conceived by Colin Johanson and Moira McEwan, as well as others. TrackChair is similar in operation to a conventional wheelchair however it has one very distinctive difference: it has two hand rims on each side of the chair. Drive just with one hand or gain a 2:1 reduction drive for two handed pushing and braking. aIDEAS is an advanced technology project based ideas-house using demonstrators as a way of showing new inclusive design concepts. Lu Papi & Associates Freedom Wheelchair designed for active paraplegics and is intended to reduce barriers to travel and independence. The chair's unique axel-less design allows the user's everyday chair to be quickly converted to a commode for use over a toilet or in a shower.
